As a coach for Full Life, I am passionate about helping people achieve a healthy lifestyle. Weight management can be a struggle! For the last 6 years, I've been keeping off 30 lbs and each day presents a new challenge! (I come from an Italian family who lives to eat!) But, I truly believe that the key to managing your weight and health is accepting those challenges, and preparing for them as best as possible. Physical activity plays a large role in my weight management. I am a marathon runner and use HMR Meal Replacements daily for nutrients and post-workout energy. I'm not just saying that because I have to. I've found through a lot of of taste testing (the best part!) that HMR products are the best tasting meal replacements out there.
When I was a full-time Health Educator and Weight Management Coach at Full Life from 2003 -2006, I worked with so many great people to help them reach their goals. I found that most of us are perfectionists in our lives. But with weight management, we have to learn that if we slip off our plans, it doesn't mean we've failed! It means that the next second, minute or day is an opportunity to get back on track. One of my favorite sayings is "Life is not about the number of times you fall, but how many times you get back up when you fall." I believe in always getting back up and practicing until healthy behaviors become a part of who you are.
I consider myself lucky to have worked with so many great people who have lost weight and stood up for their health in the face of challenge. I am even luckier to spread Full Life's philosophy and program to more people throughout the country. Today, I continue to write a weekly blog for Full Life, with the aim to inspire and provide the best health and weight loss tips, resources, or simply new ways of ways of thinking about your health.
