Expert Tips: 

You can substitute fresh spinach and vegetables for frozen.  If using fresh, steam or saute in PAM first and then follow recipe directions.

You can also add diced tomatoes with onion and garlic if you prefer more sauce.

HMR Entree Recipe - Lasagna Primavera

You will need:                               

  • 1 HMR Lasagna Entree
  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1/4 cup nonfat cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup frozen vegetables

 

Directions:

Thaw and drain frozen vegetables and spinach.  Put spinach on a microwave-safe plate.  In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, marinara sauce, and vegetables (except spinach).  Open the entree and place on the spinach.  Cover lasagna with the cottage cheese, marinara sauce and vegetable mixture.  Heat 4 - 5 minutes in the microwave.
