If you are like me, you delight in desserts!  And, growing up in New England, dessert means ice cream.  Check your labels - most gourmet ice cream will provide you with 250-350 calories per 1/2 cup serving!  Don't fool yourself about those yummy cones you have at the neighborhood take out - most of these are at least a cup of creamy calories packed into a crispy waffle.  That'll cost you.  Have you done enough physical activity to burn off a 700 calorie ice cream cone today?  (That's about 3 hours walking for me...)  If the answer is no - and I suspect it is... try this delicious HMR Pudding Parfait instead.  For fewer calories than the average scoop and plenty of protein (28 gms) and fruit to boot - you have a high volume, nutritious dessert to sink your sweet tooth into.  Enjoy!
